Muscovy ducks produce large and resilient down clusters. Their down fiber stems are thicker and stronger, compared to goose down

Muscovy down cluster stems have more “reverse” barbs, which create more loft and trap more air.
Muscovy duck maturity
Muscovy ducks require longer growth time (90-100 days), 2X longer than Peking ducks. Muscovy duck down plumes contain less fat and oil, thus less odor.
